Comment: You mentioned that some neurologists may be confused about MG. Many
pulmonary physicians are also confused about the pathophysiology and treatment of
respiratory problems in people with MG. To pulmonary doctors, a respiratory
crisis is often assumed to be an asthma attack. When the condition does not
have the usual features of asthma, some pulmonary doctors question whether
any condition of respiratory difficulty exists. |
