CELLCEPT, CYCLOSPORIN HELPED A LITTLE BUT NOT VERY MUCH MESTINON 120MG EVERY 4 HOURS PREDNISONE 30/10 EVERY OTHER DAY NOW   IVIG PLASMAPHERESIS   PROGRAF  I HAVE JUST STARTED THIS ONE WHEN CELLCEPT WAS DISCONTINUED.

pulmonary rehabilitation, medroxyprogesterone (when the problem was thought to be primary alveolar hypoventilation), some antibiotics, sleep study, open-lung biopsy, hospital stay at National Jewish Hospital

Mestinon, Robinul, Mestinon Timespan,  corticosteroids, adequate rest including naps, biPAP machine as needed, oxygen occasionally, antibiotics for respiratory infections, decreased exposure to pollution

yes, most of the time Comment: You mentioned that some neurologists may be confused about MG. Many pulmonary physicians are also confused about the pathophysiology and treatment of respiratory problems in people with MG. To pulmonary doctors, a respiratory crisis is often assumed to be an asthma attack. When the condition does not have the usual features of asthma, some pulmonary doctors question whether any condition of respiratory difficulty exists.

first ocular, then remission, then generalized with ocular (double vision, drooping eyelids), trouble chewing, swallowing, slurred speech, general weakness/tiredness, good day, bad days, mixed days
 

IVIG, got worse after

Mestinon helps some, took Cellcept, went into remission, came out generalized so Dr is now adding Imuran, then will gradually delete Cellcept as a trial
