My neuro did not want me on Imuran because of the known side effects.

Jeff

I had used Imuran and it was very bad with side effects (severe upper and lower lower GI tract problems)

I guess I had a choice but the neuro and I went straight with the CellCept since it's the "new" drug of choice.

Imuran was never really a choice for me as my liver enzymes went sky high after a short time on imuran.

No, Imuran, didn't seem to be helping, as much, especially with my diaphram. To avoid Prednisone, we started Cellcept.
