At first had extreme GI problems . Neuro put me on several meds. and we finally found that Aciphex controlled it completely. It's great to be without those problems! |

Started cellcept 8 weeks ago. Loss of appetite/weight loss (that's okay by me because I had put 15 lbs from the prednisone - now I'm back to my regular weight), racing heartbeat. Had a slight case of pneumonia last month and this time of year is always bad for me for upper respiratory problems. I have a really good cough that's driving my whole body nuts right now. With the cellcept, who knows how long it will take me to get better. |

When I started cellcept I had bad headaches but they went away in about 3 weeks. I have diarrhea but I think its a combination of cellcept and mestinon. |

I get nauseated and sometimes have to lie down until it goes away. Other than that, I haven't had the liver toxicity that I had with Imuran and cyclosporin. |
|
Renee |
I am also taking Cyclosporine w/ the Cellcept. Side effects that I have had are hypertension (high blood pressure) and hirsutism (extra hair) but I believe these are both Cyclosporine related. Other weird side effect is that when my extremities get cold, as they get warmer they get really hot feeling, at least internally. The skin is not abnormally hot. |

Insomnia, but changed dosing time and went away. |
|
Connie |
When I first started taking it I had a headache and severe fatigue/weakness for about 4 days. This happened again each time I increased the dose over the next 4 weeks (I started with 500mg daily and increased each week by 500mg until I was at my current dose of 2000mg daily). After a few days on each new dose the side effects went away. I will occasionally have a headache which I attribute to the CellCept, but not often. |

Gastro intestinal upsets that vary and come and go. A really bad internal thermostat. I'm usually dying from hot flash and sweats alternating with freezing spells. I'm not sure if this is due to the M.G. or to the medications. I absolutely cannot tolerate Heat or Humidity. |

chronic Insomnia, on Imuran, all I wanted to do was sleep. Lasting cold & cough, more minor infections. |
