Low dosage (15 mg./day) prednisone got rid of my DV in less than 3 weeks and hasn't returned. (I suspect the DV came on, when I was trying to use straight mestinon to control my speech, chewing, slurred speech and ptosis problems and probably exceeded my tolerance for it; I found excessive levels of mestinon produced more severe MG symptoms than none at all.

It started eliminating the D.V. after it really got bad in the beginning, at 2 1/2 months and about 1000 mg. per day. The Neuro had said it could start working anywhere from 2 to 6 months.

No, actually, I notice it more often, than with Imuran.
