Question:

What kind of IVIG stuff did you use (Gamimune, Polygam… Etc 5% or 10%) and why this stuff in particular ?

^Moshe ^{Omr – IgG – am 5% IV (Omrix Biopharmaceuticals ltd).}

^Jack ^{They now use Gamiomune on me and always a 10%
solution. All I can say is this is what the hospital buys. I
do not know if they use this brand all the time. I have never
checked it till my last IvIg.}

^Dennis ^{Gamimune n, 10% (solvent/detergent treated) never
told}

^Marianne ^{Gamimune 10%. This is what the home care company uses. It
was a different brand when I went to the infusion center.}

^Carol ^{have been using Baxter Gammagard 10% since the
beginning. This is brand my hospital uses and we carried it over to
home care. When there was the severe ivig shortage I was on Gamimune
for about 6 mos and did not get as good results.}

^Myrna ^{Venoglobulin-s 10% solution.}

^Dusty ^{THIS LAST STUFF THAT WORKED SO FAST WAS VENOGOBLINS. THE
FIRST DAY THEY HAVE THE PERCENTAGE DIFFERENT 10PERCENT TO PUT IT IN
SLOWER. THENIF I TOLERATE OK THEY PUT IT AT 5 PERCENT. (LESS SOLUTION) (
OR DO I HAVE THAT BACKWARDS???)}

Brand types are something which is not generally discussed in the UK and
patients are not All blood products in the UK are distributed and
collected by the Blood Transfusion Service, a government controlled body.}

^Woody ^{Gamimmune N 10% specified with "no
substitutions". I'm not certain why, except there have been
contamination problems noted with some of the other brands.}

^Connie ^{I use 66grams of Carimune 6%. This is what my neuro
ordered. My immunologist also uses this brand on all of his
patients.}
